The following items must be met prior to approval of Vendor Application: *

1.  EMAIL US
Please email us 5 pictures of your work and/or product.  Emails may be sent to info@bluegrassbattleshunger.com.

2.  VENDOR FEE
A 10' x 10' booth fee is $55.00 (this includes your $5.00 permit).

If  you require a larger booth  than  10' x 10'  please  include  size  and  a  payment  of  $80  (this  includes  your  $5  permit).

If  your  booth  requires  electricity  please  include  an  extra  $25  on  top  of  booth  fee.

3.  PAYMENT
Checks may be payable to Bluegrass Battles Hunger.

4.  INSURANCE
Vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance for General Liability coverage with minimum limits of $1,000,000.  In addition, Vendor must name Bluegrass Bettering Our Community AND City of St. Joseph, MO as an Additional Insured.  Certificate of Insurance may be mailed to the address above or sent via email to info@bluegrassbattleshunger.com.

A check for the full amount must be mailed to the address above before the application will be approved.  Approval of applications for space may take up to 30 days.  The check will not be deposited until the application is approved and will be returned if space is not granted.  The vendor will retain all profits made at the event.  The only fee  required by Bluegrass Battles Hunger for vendors is the booth fee.  You will  coordinate sales tax payments with Kim Hurt with the City of St. Joseph.
     
 
Please read and accept below: *

A completed application is a contract for exhibit, if accepted.  No refunds will be given for cancellation made after July  31th.   All vendors must be staffed and operational during all open hours of the event.  Vendor recognizes and acknowledges that this is an outdoor event and assumes all risk of weather associated and will make no claim against Bluegrass Bettering Our Community DBA Bluegrass Battle Hunger if the event is delayed or cancelled.  I understand that this application does not guarantee a booth space.  By signing this agreement I certify that this information is true and correct to the best of my knowledge.  I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of this event.
     
 
Release and Hold Harmless Agreement *

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCEPTING:

In consideration for the acceptance of participationin the Bluegrass Battles Hunger event, the undersigned hereby releases and forever discharges the City of St. Joseph, Missouri, Buchanan County, Missouri, Second Harvest Community Food Bank, Bluegrass Bettering Our Community (DBA Bluegrass Battles Hunger), and the irrespective owners, officers, directors, agents and employees; and all sponsors, producers, their agents, representatives, successors and assigns; of all liabilities, suits, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses which the undersigned may have against any of them arising out of or in any way connected with the undersigned’s participation in the Bluegrass Battles Hunger event, including loss or damage to my property, travel to or from this event, and any injuries (including death) which may be suffered by the undersigned in connection with the event.  This waiver includes any claims based on negligence, action or inaction of any of the above parties.

As further consideration for the acceptance of participation in the event, the undersigned hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the City of St. Joseph, Missouri, Buchanan County, Missouri, Second Harvest Community Food Bank, Bluegrass Bettering Our Community (DBA Bluegrass Battles Hunger), and their respective owners, officers, directors, agents and employees; and all sponsors, producers, their agents, representatives,successors and assigns, against any and all liability, loss, claims, demands, or causes of action, of any kind or nature brought by a third party, on account of any claims, damages, and causes of actions of whatever kind and nature, arising out of the undersigned’s participation in the event.

I HAVE READ THE ABOVE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS PROVISIONS.
     
 
AGREEMENT: *

AGREEMENT:  By signing this Electronic Signature Acknowledgment Form, I agree that my electronic signature is the legally binding equivalent to my handwritten signature. Whenever I execute an electronic signature, it has the same validity and meaning as my handwritten signature. I will not, at any time in the future, repudiate the meaning of my electronic signature or claim that my electronic signature is not legally binding.
